Top Beauty Picks

New and improved beauty products pop up every few seconds, enticing us to try out their magical abilities and offerings. Unfortunately, sometimes we spend our hard earned dollars to find the product isn't all its cracked up to be. Below is a list of my of my fabulous and favourite beauty products over the last few years. Not only have I tried and tested them myself, so know they are great but many of my friends have as well and are also addicted! 

Nak Aroma Oil- This hair care product only came about in the last few years, but ever since then it has been a sought after product. Nak’s Aroma Oil leaves the hair feeling silky, smooth and shiny and assists to restore the hairs damaged condition. The oil works to detangle any dry strands, avoiding hair tearing and making hair more manageable and beautiful.




Tanning Mitt- Ahh the god send of the self tanning world as we know it.the tanning mitt was developed only a few years ago but has since changed the way women and men tan. Gone are the days of awkward orange palms or streaky fake tans, the tanning mitt fits over your hand like a glove and allows for an easy and quick tan application. Its interior protects your palms from any tanning residue that could leave unwanted stains and its exterior is a soft, velvety cover that blends the tan perfectly onto the skin. The tanning mitt is reusable and lasts for a good month or two, even for the regular tanners. 


Tangle Teaser- This product was one thing I begged my friend to buy me after months of stealing hers and when she gave me one for christmas last year, my year was made right then and there! The Tangle Teaser hair product was new to salons in 2012 and has since become one of the most talked about and requested brushes. It was developed in the UK has won awards such as the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation for its amazing qualities. It works great to detangle and smooth out hair, wet or dry without any damage occurring. Not only is it a fabulous product that lives up to its hype, but also comes in a range of sizes making it the perfect item to take anywhere with you. Now 


MAC Studio Fix Liquid Foundation-  My first time I ever bought this foundation I was so excited to use it that I dropped it and it smashed on my bathroom floor. Regardless of that clumsy start, years later I am still madly in love with the MAC Studio Fix Foundation. Available in a wide range of colours to suit all skin tones, the Studio Fix is a high coverage foundation that blends well and leaves the skin looking flawless.  Only a small drop is required to cover the entire face and it has been known for its popularity for photo shoots due the smooth and satin appearance it creates. A bottle of this foundation lasts months and is perfect for anyone who works long hours and wants their make up to stay put, with little touch ups needed.



Spilt Milk Dry Shampoo- This product has only become available recently, however has had instant success with women everywhere due to its revolutionary abilities. Spilt Milk is a pigmented dry shampoo that is ideal for anyone who is constantly on the go. The powder smells of sweet desert treats and assists in covering unwanted greys or obvious roots that may appear between appointments. It is quick and easy to apply, comes in a range of different colours to suit all hair tones and is perfect for anyone with a busy lifestyle.

Brow Gel- Unruly eyebrows are never an attractive look and not everyone has the time or money to regularly be at the beautician. Brow gel is the ultimate product to keep brows looking neat and groomed all day long. There are many brands that offer some great gels that wont harden the hairs or leave them looking wet or sticky. Gels come in both clear and pigmented tones, making it one of the top products in many women’s make up bags.
